How to become a Buyer
Becoming a PattisBooks.info buyer is easy! After you have Become a Member, Click My Account on the top right of our navigation bar. You can access your account from anywhere on the site by this link.
In My Account, you can add billing and shipping information to be used at the time of purchase. Adding this information to your account prior to a purchase makes buying faster and easier. Of course, you do have the option to add shipping and billing info during the checkout process as well.
Why do you need my personal information?
In order to manage all of your PattisBooks.info transactions, we need to know your name, email, and phone number. When you make a purchase, PattisBooks.info will send your information over to Paypal who will collect your bank information. The seller never sees your bank information. At the time of purchase, sellers receive only your name and shipping address, for the purpose of shipping the items to you. No other personal information about you will ever be made available to sellers.
We will not sell or lease your personal information to anyone.
Privacy is very important to us. As part of the normal operation of our services we collect and, in some cases, disclose information about you. Our Privacy Policy describes the information we collect about you and what may happen to that information. Although this policy may seem long, we have prepared a detailed policy because we believe you should know as much as possible about PattisBooks.info's practices so that you can make informed decisions.

There are several ways to find an item at PattisBooks.info. The search bar on our home page lets you search for an item from our entire inventory. Finding your item is fast and easy!
How safe is my credit card and purchase information?
PattisBooks.info uses Paypal for all the transactions that are made through the site, therefore your personal information will be safe and secure.
Once I've found an item, how do I buy it?
Once you find your item, click on it to get specific seller, pricing, and quality information. When you're ready to buy, click the 'Buy' button next to the specific item you want to put it in your shopping cart!
Can I pay through PayPal?
Yes, you can pay through PayPal, that is the way we safely and securely process all transactions at PattisBooks.info.
Selling - How to Become a Seller
How do I create a seller account?
If you have already become a member and want to sell on PattisBooks.info, follow these steps:

Click the Log-in link at the top of the page to log in to your account.

Click the "Manage Your Books" link on the Welcome page.

Enter your Book information and click "Add."

Upload a picture of the book and you're done.
How do I get paid by PattisBooks.info?
We make payment to sellers by direct deposit (ACH) to your checking account. The balance of your accumulated sales is calculated on the 15th of each month and on the last day of each month.
Your payment will be deposited to your checking account approximately 7 business days after the end of the selling period (either the 15th or the end of the month).
When we're preparing to deposit money to your checking account, we'll send you an email letting you know what date to expect the money.
Selling - Listing Items for Sale
How do I list a Book?
Before you can list on PattisBooks.info, you need to be a registered Seller.

To list an item in Books follow these steps:

How do I determine the best price for my items?
Please note that the minimum price you can list an item for is $0.75 (75 cents). To help you price your product competitively, we'll provide you with a suggested selling price (if we have retail prices available). We calculate the suggested selling price based on the best online retail price for a new copy of the item adjusted to reflect the quality of the item at the time it's listed. Here's the pricing table we use:

For example, for a book in Acceptable quality with an original list price of $20, and a best online retail price of $10, we suggest a price of $3.50.
The items I just listed aren't showing in my inventory.
From time to time, the system does experience some delays. This can be because a high volume of items are being listed, for example. Items usually take 2 hours to appear in your inventory, but this can take up to 24 hours.
The items I just listed aren't showing up when I do a search.
If you don't find one of your items on the site, it might be because a buyer has checked out with the item in their shopping cart. While a buyer is checking out, the item the buyer is purchasing becomes temporarily unavailable, just until the buyer's credit card has been charged. In most instances this takes only a few minutes, but in some cases it can take a little longer. If so, the item will not appear on the site or in your inventory during that time. Once the buyer's credit card has been authorized and charged, PattisBooks.info will notify you of the sale.
How long does an item stay listed in my inventory?
Once you list an item on PattisBooks.info, the item will remain listed on the site either until it is sold or until you remove it from your inventory. There are no time limits on items listed. For this reason, it's important to manage your inventory carefully. If you sell an item outside of PattisBooks.info or if an item gets damaged, be sure to remove the item from your inventory before someone purchases it.
